I currently work for CDO (Corporate Design Online), maker of the leading brand management solution iBrams®. As delivery manager and developer my work includes internationalisation (i18n) and localisation (l10n), technical and end user documentation, build and test automation, and quality assurance.
Past work both as a contractor and employee includes:
- Single source publishing solutions
- Processing of XML-Data from InDesign® documents and integration of other data sources for publication on the web, in order to simultaneously publish a monthly financial journal online and offline as a printed customer magazine.
- Development of an OpenOffice.org Writer extension for publishing text documents on the web, ensuring compliance with CI guidelines, and creation of a custom export filter for presentation slides, for an academic institute at the University of Bielefeld.
- Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Roxen. Creation of XSLT-based templates for different academic institutes at the University of Bielefeld, e.g.: PunktUm.
- Zope. Integration and development of Zope-based wikis and learning platforms and other applications for academic institutes at the University of Bielefeld.
- PHP-based solutions, both custom solutions and solutions based on OpenSource products (e.g. Drupal, MediaWiki) and proprietary applications.
- E-Mail Newsletters
- Operating of a custom solution for sending a marketing newsletter of a hotel chain, including management of addresses and statistical analysis.
